What you’ll do:
- Own all go-to-market activity for assigned portfolio(s) of service offerings and solutions
- Understand business priorities, target audience, competitive positioning, marketing plans, and budgets to streamline marketing projects and campaign initiation and execution
- Facilitate the execution of campaigns on behalf of the assigned line of business, and ensure campaign assets are delivered on time, within budget, and strategy
- Develop preliminary project execution schedule / set sprint cycles with input from Marketing
- Lead agile teams to self-organize, manage work, define solutions, own their schedule, and determine what they work on (based off priorities within a given Sprint)
- Ensure work in the backlog is continuously being groomed and advanced to become “ready” for the execution team and the upcoming sprint(s)
- Some travel may be required
Strong candidates should possess:
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders
- An understanding of how to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, and where requirements often change
- Executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale, and advise leaders and their teams on communications and marketing strategy
- Lead junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to support their growth and development. Coach others on their career development aspirations and facilitate new connections for your Coachees to expand their own network and broaden their understanding
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years relevant experience in Marketing, Project Management or Account Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
- Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
- An understanding of marketing fundamentals with a focus on strategy/trends and the execution of marketing communications solutions in the B2B arena
- Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
- Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are preferred
- Strong English and Spanish oral and written communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel as needed
