The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and managing scalable data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric while supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation and data modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and manage scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and real-time analytics solutions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration workflows.
- Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric components including OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, and Power BI.
- Design robust data models and data transformation frameworks for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
- Optimize data processing performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Support real-time analytics, streaming, and advanced reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
- Troubleshoot complex data platform and integration issues.
- Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical mentoring for junior engineers.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, and operational runbooks.
- Drive best practices for cloud-based data engineering and enterprise analytics.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data ecosystem.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric certifications preferred.
- Certifications in Data Engineering, Power BI, or Cloud Architecture are an added advantage.
