Bilingual Legal Assistant

Position Overview We are seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant with prior legal experience to support our legal team during a part-time trial period, with the intent to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and confident, communicating with clients in both written and verbal formats. Key Responsibilities - Contact and follow up with leads via phone - Conduct client intake calls and accurately complete intake forms - Prepare and complete legal documents using firm-approved templates - Communicate professionally with clients in both languages - Assist attorneys with administrative and case-related tasks as needed Practice Areas - Personal Injury - Workers’ Compensation - Criminal Defense Required Qualifications - Fully bilingual (written and verbal proficiency required) - Prior legal assistant or law office experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities - Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information Preferred Qualifications - Experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, or criminal defense - Familiarity with legal intake procedures and document preparation Employment Structure This position begins as a half-time trial role. Upon successful completion of the trial period, the position will transition to full-time employment.
