Seeking Experienced Data Governance Analysts – Remote Opportunity in Mexico

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst with 6+ years of experience to join a dynamic team. This role will focus on implementing and operating data governance and data quality platforms, with strong expertise in Informatica IDMC, Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), and Data Quality (CDQ/IDQ).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, governance frameworks, and the integration of governance platforms with cloud and privacy technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain data governance platforms using Informatica CDGC and AXON.
• Support data governance initiatives, data standards, quality frameworks, and data quality rules.
• Configure and manage quality rules, policies, monitoring, and stewardship workflows using CDQ/IDQ.
• Integrate data catalogs with databases, ERP, CRM, cloud storage, and Databricks through catalog sources and scanners.
• Manage enterprise data catalogs, metadata, data classification, curation, dashboards, and Data Marketplace.
• Implement and maintain end-to-end data lineage and ensure data traceability.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and business stakeholders to define data standards and quality requirements.
• Support governance and quality initiatives in Databricks Lakehouse environments.
• Apply CLAIRE capabilities to accelerate quality rule definition, metadata classification, glossary documentation, and governance processes.
• Ensure alignment with data privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) – desirable

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Data Governance and Data Quality
• Advanced English (mandatory)
• Strong communication, leadership, empathy, teamwork, and commitment
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, Data Owners, and business stakeholders

Location & Schedule:

• Remote position
• Candidates must currently reside in Mexico
• Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 hrs
• Advanced English is mandatory
