About The Team
The Simcenter ROM Team at Siemens is leveraging AI to reinvent the product design cycle. With a focus on customer impact and a strong culture of collaboration and innovation, we’re harnessing emerging technologies like geometric deep learning and generative AI to enable faster product design.
What You Will Be Doing
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team developing state-of-the-art AI-powered engineering solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product management, research, and user experience teams to bring innovative technologies to a fast-growing product.
- Contribute to software engineering initiatives, helping ensure high-quality solutions and timely delivery.
- Design, build, and optimize high-performance machine learning pipelines to efficiently harvest and process simulation and test data.
- A problem-solving mindset, eagerness to collaborate, and a passion for continuous learning
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Extensive experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python and solid knowledge of C++
- A strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, ORM, and databases
- The ability to write clean, modular, and well-tested code
- Comfort working across both Windows and Linux environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience applying and implementing numerical methods and algorithms in real-world engineering contexts.
- Experience working with parallel and high-performance computing technologies, including multi-threading, MPI, or CUDA.
- Experience optimizing, debugging, and profiling high-performance applications to maximize efficiency and scalability.
- A proven track record of translating numerical methods from academic research into practical software solutions.
Our Benefits & Rewards
The primary locations for this opportunity are: France, Belgium and Egypt. The salary ranges for these locations are:
France: €52.800 to €89.700
Belgium: €61.500 to €110.700
Egypt: USD 33.500 to USD 67.000
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
