As a GCP Data Engineer, you will lead the development of scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform. You will take ownership of the data lifecycle, overseeing pipelines and analytics solutions to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and efficiently managed for strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust data processing systems and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources using Python and GCP services.
- Leverage BigQuery to build high-performance analytics warehouses and enable large-scale querying for business insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and implement end-to-end data solutions that support organizational goals.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and security by implementing best practices for data governance and proactive system monitoring.
- Evaluate and integrate new GCP services to continuously improve the performance and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Data Management.
- Proven expertise in leading the development of scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
- Deep understanding of GCP-native services, specifically BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Hands-on experience overseeing complex data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
