Job Title: Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer (AWS, Python, DevOps)
Duration: 22 Month Contract
Pay: $78 - $80/hr
Location: Orlando, FL (4x Onsite)
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python development in production environments.
- Hands-on AWS expertise (Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, IAM, etc.)
- DevOps background, CI/CD pipeline development - GitLab or GitHub, Docker, etc.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar frameworks.
Nice To Have Requirements:
- Experience with AWS networking (AWS CDK/CDKTF/Pulumi, Datadog, Snowflake, Airflow, etc.)
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Java, or another statically typed language.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native solutions in AWS. This individual will play a key role in developing software, automating infrastructure, and driving engineering best practices across cloud and data platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with deep cloud expertise and enjoys solving complex technical challenges involving distributed systems, high-volume data processing, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services using Python and AWS technologies.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support data processing and distributed workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.
Compensation:
$78/hr to $80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
