Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure and deployment environments within Microsoft Azure.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate comes from a Cloud DevOps or Platform Engineering background and can work independently while providing technical guidance when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable software deployments.

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and environment management.

• Maintain consistent development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization across cloud infrastructure and applications.

• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and pipeline issues.

• Support scalability, availability, security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Integrate security and automated controls into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

• Provide technical guidance while remaining actively involved in hands-on engineering and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related experience.

• Strong hands-on experience working within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Advanced experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments.

• Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Docker and container deployment.

• Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash.

• Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, logging, and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, scalability, and high availability.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a senior technical capacity.

• Previous technical lead experience is an asset, but candidates must remain highly hands-on.
