Workday Integration Lead Developer

We are looking for a Workday Integration Lead Developer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Start date: 2026-10-20

End date: 2027-12-20

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the assignment:

You will lead integration design and delivery for a major Workday implementation program, connecting Workday with HR, payroll, identity management, finance, and other enterprise systems. This role requires assessing and redesigning over 100 existing integrations while providing technical leadership and establishing integration architecture standards and best practices.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead assessment and redesign of existing interfaces impacted by the Workday implementation
• Build scalable, secure integrations using Workday technologies and define integration patterns and development standards
• Serve as technical expert and advisor for Workday integration architecture
• Mentor internal developers and collaborate with implementation partners, architects, and business teams
• Ensure compliance with security and operational requirements and maintain technical documentation

Profile & Qualifications:

• 7+ years enterprise integration development experience with 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience
• Proven track record delivering Workday implementation or transformation projects
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of HR business processes including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, and Payroll
