Senior Data Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our talented team in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a passion for building robust data pipelines and optimizing data workflows. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions

- Optimize and enhance existing data architectures to improve performance and reliability.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality assurance

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data engineering capabilities

Required Qualifications:

- Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role (4+ years )

- Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts

- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Redshift, Amazon S, Amazon Glue, Amazon Athena, Amazon Lambda), PySpark, Snowflake, dbt (Data Build Tool) and/or Databricks

- Experience with programming Python and SQL

- English skills B2+

Nice to Have Skills:

- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

- Experience with MS SQL Server

- Understanding of DataOps principles and practices
