Senior Analytics Engineer (Tech)

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help build the trusted data foundation that powers company-wide analytics and next-generation AI/agentic systems.

This role works closely with Data Governance, Data Platform teams to design scalable systems for data certification, ownership, discoverability, reliability, and self-service analytics. You will also help define standards for how analytical datasets and metrics are built across the organization.

• Apply system-level thinking to design and own a company-wide data certification framework, working with Data Engineering and Data Governance to translate requirements into implementable specifications;
• Continuously evolve the framework as a living system by improving its effectiveness, coverage, adoption, and data trust signals (accuracy, false trust/false failures, and usability for consumers);
• Define and drive analytics engineering standards across the organization, including data modeling, semantic layers, documentation, and data quality practices, and mentor Data Analysts and Analytics Engineers to ensure consistent adoption;
• Enable trusted, discoverable, and AI-ready data assets by improving data reliability through automated quality checks, monitoring, and contributing to the evolution of the company’s data foundation and self-service analytics platform.

• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Platform roles;
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills;
• Experience with modern data stack technologies (dbt, Airflow/Dags, BigQuery/etc.);
• Experience designing data governance, metadata, lineage, or data quality systems;
• Strong understanding of analytical data architecture and scalable semantic modeling;
• Experience working cross-functionally with platform, engineering, and analytics teams;
• Familiarity with data contracts, certification frameworks, and trusted data product concepts is a strong plus;
• Experience supporting AI/ML or agentic data systems is a plus.
