Data Engineer

Position : Data Engineer (Good English)

Location : Ho Chi Minh City

Role Description

• Develop and maintain scalable, production-grade data pipelines.

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning pipelines for manufacturing and logistics use cases.

• Build and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• Develop and maintain data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.

• Support schema management and deployment processes using tools such as Schemachange.

• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and reusable data assets.

• Apply data engineering best practices in CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and data lifecycle management.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields

• At least 3+ years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge

(Oracle, SQL Server)

• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, performance tuning, and data manipulation

• Solid programming skills in Python for data processing, automation, and ETL

• Experience working with Spark (PySpark/Scala Spark), including building scalable distributed data processing pipelines

• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms

• Understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and pipeline orchestration

• Good English communication and teamwork skills; ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Skills / Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog is a plus) and/or Snowflake Data Cloud
• Familiarity with dbt Cloud (Data Build Tool) and Schemachange for data transformation, deployment, and schema management is an advantage
