Initially, the role will be office-based full-time in our Hammersmith office to support training and onboarding. Once established in the role, hybrid working will be available.
Key Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Supporting the supplier and freelancer purchase ledger functions across Sunset+Vine Productions
- Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and carrying out finance checks to ensure invoices meet legal requirements
- Assisting with UK BACS payment runs for freelancers and suppliers
- Supporting multi-currency international payments
- Helping with cashflow reporting and reconciliations
- Using Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and Pivot Tables to analyse and reconcile financial data
- Assisting with production account calculations and reporting
- Supporting year-end and interim audit processes
- Maintaining accurate and organised online financial records
- Assisting with supplier expenses, invoicing, statement reconciliations and payments
- Processing employee expenses and ensuring VAT checks and company policies are followed
- Learning and applying IR35 rules to invoices (full training provided)
What we’re looking for
- A graduate or someone with some previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis
- An interest in developing a career in finance and accounting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Why join us?
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your finance career within a well-established and dynamic TV production company, gaining valuable experience while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.
