The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:
$23 - $25/hr.
Overview
The IT Data Science Intern is responsible for assisting in the development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of new and current data science projects and applications as well as assisting in daily IT support functions.
Responsibilities
- Work with operations to understand business requirements and translate those into solution requirements.
- Build proof of concept models utilizing Machine Learning, Optimization, Simulation and Generative Artificial Intelligence techniques.
- Build data pipelines and data products to feed new and existing data science projects.
- Assist in the development of simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs.
- Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
- All GT team members are responsible for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.
- Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS for the entire duration of internship.
