Movendis North America Inc. is currently expanding its engineering and technical operations in the Houston area and is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support product development, testing, OEM projects, and customer technical support throughout North America.

Position Overview

This position combines:

· Product R&D and development

· Product testing and validation

· OEM and customer technical support

· Application engineering

· Technical troubleshooting

· Cross-functional engineering coordination

The successful candidate will play a leading technical role within Movendis North America and will work closely with internal teams, manufacturing operations, customers, distributors, and OEMs, worldwide.

This role offers a rare opportunity to actively participate in:

· the development of new products and technologies,

· the setup of a new North American testing facility,

· testing methodology development,

· equipment selection, and future technical and operational expansion projects.

The engineer will work directly alongside the General Manager as part of a small and highly collaborative North American team focused on engineering, sales, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

· Support development and validation of new belt technologies and applications

· Conduct product testing, performance analysis, and technical investigations

· Support OEM development projects and customer application requirements

· Analyze field performance and support troubleshooting activities

· Participate in competitive benchmarking and product improvement initiatives

· Assist with setup and development of the North American testing facility

· Work closely with global engineering, manufacturing, sales, and logistics teams

· Provide technical support across multiple business verticals including:

o Industrial

o Agricultural

o Automotive

o Powersports / CVT

o Lawn & Garden

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

· Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience required

· 5+ years of experience in application engineering, testing, product development, in drive belt power transmission industries strongly preferred

· Strong mechanical and analytical capabilities

· Hands-on engineering mindset

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage multiple technical projects

· Experience in drive belts, power transmission systems, rotating equipment, automotive, industrial machinery, testing, or related technical industries preferred

· Willingness to travel occasionally within North America and internationally
