Knowledge Graph Engineer – HealthTech
Location: Copenhagen – Hybrid
Type: Permanent
We are looking for a Knowledge Graph Engineer to join a European HealthTech company using data and technology to improve cancer care and research.
You will work with engineering, data science and clinical teams to build the knowledge graphs, ontologies and semantic models that connect complex healthcare data and support analytics and AI applications.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain knowledge graphs and ontologies
- Develop semantic models using RDF, RDFS and OWL
- Implement validation using SHACL
- Develop taxonomies and vocabularies using SKOS
- Build and optimise SPARQL queries
- Integrate data from multiple clinical and enterprise sources
- Support LLM, RAG and AI applications with structured knowledge
- Work with domain experts to translate complex concepts into semantic models
What we're looking for
- Hands-on Knowledge Graph / Semantic Engineering experience
- Strong experience with RDF, RDFS, OWL and SPARQL
- Knowledge of SHACL, SKOS and W3C Semantic Web standards
- Experience with graph databases or triple stores
- Python experience is beneficial
- Healthcare or life sciences experience is useful but not essential
This is a hands-on engineering role within a highly technical, international team working on real-world applications of Knowledge Graphs, semantic technologies and AI.
