Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

Position Overview

The Work Management team is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join its application development organization. The Work Management family consists of seven application teams responsible for custom software development, application configuration, DevOps, and ongoing application support and maintenance.

The organization is currently undergoing an Agile transformation focused on improving software delivery, engineering collaboration, and overall business value. This position will support both new application development and existing production systems within assigned application domains.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET 5+, React and/or Angular, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and production application support. This individual should also be comfortable mentoring less experienced engineers and collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET 5+ and modern front-end technologies such as React and/or Angular.
• Balance new feature development, application maintenance, production support, and operational responsibilities.
• Take ownership of assigned application subdomains, including both ongoing development and long-term application support.
• Develop new functionality and enhance existing applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, application incidents, and performance issues.
• Participate in application deployments and support DevOps and CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Collaborate with other engineers on architecture, application design, and technical solution decisions.
• Participate in daily Agile standups to review completed work, discuss blockers, and establish priorities for the day.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and prioritization activities.
• Review and prioritize development backlog items in collaboration with the application team.
• Perform pair programming and collaborate closely with other engineers on development activities.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to develop reliable and maintainable software.
• Support ongoing modernization and application initiatives associated with the organization's SAP S/4 transformation.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications while contributing to new product and feature development.
• Support bug fixes, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and production stability.
• Mentor and coach newer or less experienced developers on development standards, architecture, testing, and Agile engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software development best practices across the team.
• Collaborate across application, DevOps, architecture, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with .NET 5+ / modern .NET development.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React and/or Angular.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience resolving application bugs and production incidents.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with pair programming and collaborative software development.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application support practices.
• Ability to balance feature development with operational and production-support responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience with application modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 transformation projects or SAP-integrated environments.
• Experience participating in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Experience improving automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
