Description

As Backend Developer you will be working with our team of architects in the analysis, planning and implementation of the different solutions for our clients. You will be working on multiple projects to ensure the quality and performance of our products.

What we need:

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience building backend systems in production
• Ability to lead technically — own a module or initiative and guide other developers
• Ability to architect: evaluate options, document trade-offs and defend your decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Positive attitude to teamwork and working in team environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Skilled use of AI tools in your development workflow — and the judgment to validate what they produce

Knowledge in:

• AWS Services
• Python
• JavaScript ES6+ / TypeScript (Node.js)
• Java (Spring Framework / Spring Boot)
• OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect — implementing flows, not just consuming them
• SQL (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL) — modeling, complex queries and performance tuning
• NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Firestore or Redis)
• REST API design
• Git and pull-request based workflows

Awesome If:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer or Security Specialty)
• Experience in Government or Banking projects, and regulated environments (PCI DSS, DPPA, NIST, FedRAMP / GovCloud)
• Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation)
• Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Event-driven architectures and messaging (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kafka)
• Backend experience supporting native or React Native mobile apps
• AZURE Services
• Kubernetes
• Legacy system modernization or database migrations
• Fully bilingual (Spanish / English)
