Essential Functions
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Create dashboards and reports for operational and financial metrics, such as fuel consumption, carrier performance, and freight spend.
- Evaluate and enhance Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other software tools.
- Map and document current, end-to-end transportation processes.
- Support business strategies through network optimization, carrier negotiations, and project management.
- Develop business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and project proposals.
- Act as the liaison between business units, Information Technology, and external partners, including carriers and vendors.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, such as on-time delivery, to ensure compliance and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights
- Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation modes (truckload, less-than-truckload, ocean, and air), and supply chain principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings to management
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues
- Experience with SQL, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 and includes benefits such as the following:
