Position: Cloud Solution Architect – Data & AI

Location : Egypt

Primary Responsibility:

The Cloud Solution Architect – Data & AI is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving the organization's cloud-based data, integration, and AI architecture.

The role provides technical ownership across the data and analytics technology stack, connecting enterprise systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 with the central Data Mine platform, BI environments, and emerging AI capabilities. The role combines solution architecture, data engineering, cloud integration, backend development, platform optimization, and enterprise AI enablement.

Working closely with the Business Intelligence Lead, Technical Lead, ICT, and business systems teams, the role ensures that data and AI solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, cost-effective, and aligned with enterprise architecture and technology standards.

The position plays a critical role in reducing dependency on external consultants by building strong internal technical capability and ensuring sustainable ownership of the organization's data and AI platforms.

The role also contributes to the organization's AI strategy by designing and enabling enterprise-grade LLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted decision-support services built on the central Data Mine platform.

The successful candidate is expected to be both architecturally capable and hands-on, translating business and technical requirements into practical cloud solutions and contributing directly to their implementation, optimization, and operational support.

Experience & Industry Background

• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms, enterprise integrations, or solution architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure data and integration services, preferably within Microsoft-centric enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with SQL development, database architecture, data modelling, performance optimization, and data transformation.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and ERP platforms; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and integration architectures across multiple source systems.
• Experience working with BI teams to enable enterprise reporting, analytics, semantic models, and data consumption.
• Experience with LLM-powered applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI orchestration, agentic AI, or intelligent automation is highly desirable.
• Experience designing or supporting enterprise AI architectures, including Azure OpenAI, Microsoft AI Foundry, vector search, semantic retrieval, and governed access to enterprise data.
• Experience balancing architecture, security, performance, scalability, operational reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and structured deployment practices.
