The Role

We're looking for a Talend Data Integration Developer to join a data-focused engineering environment where reliable integration and high-quality data pipelines are critical to business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex data requirements into scalable ETL solutions, working across databases, APIs, and cloud environments.

Your Mission:

ETL & Data Integration: Design, develop, and optimize Talend ETL/ELT workflows supporting data integration, transformation, and migration initiatives.

Data Pipelines: Build scalable and reliable data pipelines connecting relational databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and different data sources.

Data Quality: Implement validation rules, quality controls, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure trustworthy data throughout the integration process.

API & Data Processing: Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, working with formats such as JSON, XML, and flat files.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor Talend workflows, investigate failures, and continuously optimize jobs for reliability and performance.

Technical Collaboration: Work with business analysts and data architects to translate business requirements into effective integration solutions while maintaining clear technical documentation.

What We Are Looking For:

Talend Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Talend, including Talend DI, Talend Cloud, and/or Talend ESB.

ETL Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in ETL development, data integration, or data engineering.

Data & SQL: Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Data Warehousing: Good understanding of data warehouse concepts, including star schemas, fact tables, and slowly changing dimensions.

Integration Skills: Practical experience with REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and file-based data exchange, with a solid understanding of API-driven integrations.

Cloud & Automation: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus basic knowledge of Python or Bash for scripting and automation.

Communication: Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum environments.
