We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data pipelines and foundational data assets
- Establish scalable and reliable data engineering practices
- Ensure enterprise data is accurate, secure, accessible, and aligned to business priorities
- Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise data pipelines and integrations
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to data engineering team members
- Mentor and develop technical talent while fostering strong engineering discipline and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field
- 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, delivering enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Strong SQL and data transformation expertise
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Fabric
- Experience integrating ERP and operational systems
- Proven experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers; prior people management experience is desirable
- Opportunity to lead design and development of critical data infrastructure
- Engage in advanced analytics, reporting, forecasting, and AI initiatives
- Contribute to establishing scalable data engineering standards and frameworks
