Databricks Data Engineer

A global digital health leader based in Burton Upon Trent is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines, driving data-led decision making across the business as part of a large-scale Databricks transformation programme.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Data Engineering Manager to develop and optimise data pipelines, design and maintain the data warehouse and lakehouse architecture, and ensure data governance, security and quality across technology and business operations.

Location: Burton upon Trent, once a week in the office

Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + Benefits

To be considered, you'll need:

• Min 1 Years of experience working with with Databricks, including experience working with Unity Catalog and DLT.
• Proficiency in other Azure services and technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Event Hubs
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience building and deploying CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps and working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
