Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Big Data Platform)

Our client is a global leader in ICT infrastructure and smart devices in Thailand. The company provides telecommunications, enterprise IT, cloud, and consumer solutions, supporting Thailand’s digital transformation across government, business, and industry sectors.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the customer's data governance service, including the customer's data and service survey, design hierarchical data models based on the TM Forum SID standard architecture, and review and align the models with the customer.
• Develop data flows based on Huawei ETL and data governance tools, and design and develop data quality rules and configure it.
• Prepare test case documents and test reports, and pass the customer's E2E UAT, including the rollout of data models.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Design the solution based on customer requirement, and communicate and align with customer, guide team to develop and deploy the solution.
• Manage project progress and risks, and report to the customer on a regular basis.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in big data within the industry; experience in IT/data roles at telecommunications operators is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing big data teams or big data projects.
• Familiar with TMF SID standard and experience in data model design
• Failiar data governance domain and data quality audit
• Familiar with big data-related technologies, including but not limited to databases, ETL tools, SQL/Python/PySpark/Java, BI tools, and machine learning.
• Strong external communication skills and techniques; capable of effectively managing internal teams.
• Good proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• Willing to accept an outsourcing contract with a renewable option.
