Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Project Data Analytics & Information Systems Engineer in our Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
The Reporting / Information Engineer is responsible for setting up and maintaining processes, methods and tools ensuring the project-wide consistent approach on generating and exchanging information.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Establish and maintain the project-wide Project Data Structure database and the corresponding guidelines and ensure that it is consistently applied throughout all relevant processes and tools across the project.
- Development and implementation of information management practices, including tools, guidelines and procedures.
- Assist stakeholders to define and understand their responsibilities in relation to information management.
- Engaging with stakeholders to identify areas in which effective information management can lead to overall business improvement.
- Administrates the collaboration platform, establishes uses cases and workflows, provides user support and interfaces with all stakeholders participating in the platform.
- Gather all input and prepare the Monthly Progress Reports for the customer.
- Establish and monitor powerful key performance indicators for steering the project and generate project insights supporting project managers in their decision-making.
- Enhance processes to reduce time to create daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, etc.
- At least 1 year of experience working on railway infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience and technical expertise in all fields of data analytics, incl. database development, data visualization, data processing and scripting is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Oracle Aconex, Oracle Primavera, Power BI, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office 365 tools (e.g.: Power Platform, SharePoint, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Visual Basic, C#, SQL, XML
- Fluent English language skills essential, both written and spoken
