ABOUT THE JOB

  • Design logical and physical relational data models based on business requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services
  • Build and manage production-grade data workflows on BigQuery and related GCP services
  • Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and pipeline deployment
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance to support reporting and visualization applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across enterprise data platforms
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines to improve performance and scalability
  • Support CI/CD processes using Git and development best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in data architecture and engineering standards

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in production environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational database design and query optimization
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and data engineering
  • Experience designing relational schemas and developing ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of Power BI integration is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Professional proficiency in English
