A growing organization that is investing heavily in its modern data platform and analytics capabilities. We're looking for an Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer who enjoys bridging the gap between data engineering and business intelligence by building scalable data models, transforming complex datasets, and delivering meaningful insights to stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who can own data from source to visualization, working closely with business leaders to translate requirements into reliable, well-designed data solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Build and maintain semantic data models for analytics and reporting
- Create and optimize Power BI datasets, measures, and dashboards
- Design dimensional models, including star schemas and slowly changing dimensions
- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Improve data quality, integrity, governance, and reporting consistency
- Support a modern cloud-based data platform and ongoing modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and performance issues across reporting and analytics solutions

- Microsoft Fabric (or similar modern analytics platforms)
What We're Looking For
- Strong SQL development skills
- Experience building Power BI semantic models from scratch
- Advanced DAX experience, including CALCULATE, filter context, and context transition
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and data transformation processes
- Experience working with Azure-based data platforms and cloud analytics solutions
- Ability to work directly with business users and translate ambiguous requirements into scalable data solutions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Fabric experience
- Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or similar cloud data technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting and self-service analytics initiatives
- Experience in multi-entity, operational, or industrial environments
