Our client is an established global Data, Analytics and AI consulting firm that helps large organizations modernize their data ecosystems and put analytics and AI to work at scale. Their teams work directly with enterprise clients on complex data engineering, cloud modernization and Customer 360 initiatives.

They’re looking for a Lead Data Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Snowflake, IICS and dbt to join their team full-time.

Location

This role can be 100% remote within the U.S., with a preference for candidates in or near Scottsdale, Arizona. Candidates should be comfortable supporting MST working hours and occasional client travel as project needs require. Travel expenses are covered.

What You’ll Do

You’ll remain hands-on while taking ownership of technical design and engineering quality across complex enterprise data environments.

• Design and build complex ELT pipelines across Stage, ODS, Silver and Gold layers
• Develop solutions using Snowflake, IICS, dbt and Airflow
• Work directly with client development teams and technical stakeholders
• Lead technical design discussions and code reviews
• Own pipeline reliability, performance and data quality
• Mentor other data engineers and help establish strong engineering practices
• Build scalable data models supporting enterprise analytics and Customer 360 initiatives

Required Experience:

• Deep hands-on Snowflake experience, including Snowpipe and SnowSQL
• Strong IICS / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services experience
• Strong dbt experience with transformation and data modeling
• Experience with Airflow orchestration
• Advanced SQL and modern ELT/data engineering practices
• Experience with Medallion architecture
• Experience leading technical design and code reviews
• Ability to work directly with client technical teams
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience

Nice to have:

• SQLDBM or similar data modeling experience
• Customer 360 or complex enterprise customer-data experience
• Consulting or professional services experience
