Main Tasks

• To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
• To ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
• Translate the company's data and analytics strategy into technical solutions and ensure alignment with the "single point of truth" approach, meaning consistent, centralized, and reliable data sources.
• Strengthening Data and Information Architecture by design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures and defining standards for data modeling, integration, storage, and access
• Maximize value derived from data and analytics: Foster value creation using the organization's data assets, as well as the external data ecosystem. This includes aiding value creation through data exploitation, envisioning data-enabled strategies, as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy.
• Leading Technology Implementation in Data Management, evaluate, select, and implement new technologies for data management (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, ETL tools) and ensure solutions are future-proof and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Advising on Data Domain Changes and assess the impact of changes in data systems or processes.
• Provide guidance on how changes affect business operations and IT infrastructure.

Position Key Accountabilities

• Apply data governance principles and establish implementation standards for all data-related initiatives.
• Act as the design authority for implementing Data related topics
• Lead the solution design phase, support Business Analysts and guide Engineers and Developers (internal & external)
• During solution delivery, contribute to and support the achievement timely execution of implementation requests.
• Ensure the usage of change process standards and templates within IT.
• Act as a leading member of the Application community.
• Promote a SaaS first approach for solutions in SRT.

Position Key Requirements and Competencies

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience, with at least two years in information system design
• In-depth experience of designing and implementing data driven solutions, like data lakes, data warehouses, big data platforms or real-time data pipelines especially with Microsoft azure.
• Proficient in common information architecture frameworks and standardized data modeling approaches.
• Demonstrates expertise in metamodels, taxonomies, and ontologies, with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in applying structured data modeling techniques to semi-structured and unstructured data sources.
• Familiar with key data science concepts and proficient in technologies such as Python, R, and SQL, alongside expertise in master data management (MDM) tools like SAP MDG, business intelligence platforms including Power BI and data warehouse design and implementation using Azure and SAP Products.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and implementation using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments. Also, an understanding of a variety of data access and analytic approaches (for example, microservices and event-based architectures).
• Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong capability to understand the business process and scenarios
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
