Required Technical Skills
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, BI Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Data Warehousing.
- Experience in data modelling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical datasets.
- Good understanding of data quality, data validation, and data integration concepts.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Power Query and DAX is preferred for Power BI-focused roles.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data processing or automation would be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple data sources and business stakeholders.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Exposure to cloud-based BI and modern data platforms.
