Overview

As a Data Engineer based in Sri Lanka, you’ll join a global team that champions collaboration, ethical practices, and growth. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, and ETL/ELT frameworks, contributing to impactful data solutions that drive business success.

How You'll Make An Impact

In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Snowflake. You’ll optimise SQL queries, ensure data accuracy, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions. Collaborating with analysts, developers, and stakeholders, you’ll troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain technical documentation.

Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

• Building and supporting data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Snowflake.
• Developing efficient data workflows and optimising SQL queries for performance.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions and reporting requirements.
• Troubleshooting data-related issues and resolving performance bottlenecks.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• 3-4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience in data warehousing, data modelling, and data quality governance.
• A collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Python, PySpark, DBT, Fivetran, Azure DevOps, Power BI, and ADLS is a plus.
