Talent & Workforce Development Specialist

AgroLiquid is looking for a Talent & Workforce Development Specialist who can help build the processes that support employee growth—and make sure those processes are carried through.

This role blends career development, succession and workforce planning with hands-on coordination of learning and development programs. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys both creating practical people-development processes and managing the details required to make them successful.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with managers and directors to create employee career paths and development plans.
• Lead succession planning, bench-strength analysis and identification of future talent and skill gaps.
• Assess competencies and development needs and help translate those needs into actionable development plans.
• Build, implement and improve employee-development processes and programs.
• Coordinate employee training enrollment, tuition assistance, development programs and required training.
• Manage LMS activities, learning paths, training records and follow-up.
• Research and evaluate training resources, vendors and development opportunities.
• Track participation, progress and effectiveness to ensure development efforts are creating value.
• Promote awareness and engagement around employee growth and development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Related degree and 4+ years of related experience in talent development, learning and development, or organizational development field.
• Experience with career development, employee development planning, competencies, succession planning or similar talent processes.
• Strong planning, organization, project-management and follow-through skills.
• Ability to independently build processes while also managing day-to-day execution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with employees, managers and leaders.
• Analytical, self-directed and comfortable turning ideas into practical action.
