Duties To Include, But Not Limited To
- Performs inventory audits and cycle counts at the Taylor Entrance Systems facility
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and product movement for accuracy.
- Research and identify root causes for inventory inaccuracies. Designs, recommends, and implement process improvement plans.
- Identify obsolete, excess and damaged inventory partnering with cross departmental stake holders who collaborate on end-of-life procedures and other inventory related decisions.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain and Production to review, monitor, and implement improvements in inventory control processes & system changes.
- Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings.
- Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety for self and others into daily activities.
- Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Supply Chain that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or company mission.
- Strong math skills and demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills to problem solving.
- Detail oriented with creative problem solving with and a track record of sponsoring innovative solutions.
- Ability to successfully leverage technology to extract and analyze data.
- Ability to articulate and convey conclusions, share information, or convince key stake holders and sponsors.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating leadership skills that portray excellent teamwork and ability to partner with others.
- Problem solving and generate innovative solutions to eliminate obstacles.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and influence others positively as an informal leader among department and location teams.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Inventory Control, Procurement, Scheduling, Supply Chain, etc.
- Post secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong Computer skills – (MS Office, ERP, etc.)
- Strong Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface with related departments and senior leaders
