Job Summary:

Supply Chain Analysts improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection, analysis, and process improvements. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for ordering and maintaining an acceptable level of MRO / Supply items.
• Design, implement, and monitor a supply item inventory system.
• Train all personnel that consume supply items on how to scan and record what is taken from inventory.
• Monitor MRO / Supply item usage and determine minimum inventory levels.
• Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts.
• Perform annual price negotiations for all MRO / Supply items, utilizing consumption history.
• Identify and implement improvement ideas in shipping and receiving departments.
• Monitor, Analyze, and rate supplier quality, timing, and pricing annually.
• Report on supplier performance to management as required.
• Seek out diversity / minority owned suppliers and retain vendor certification.
• Assess and onboard potential new vendors enforcing compliance and quality standards.
• Manage all services and contracts as needed including lawn care, snow plowing, lawn irrigation, janitorial services etc.
• Implement and ensure full utilization of the Plex purchase requisition process.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management

• None

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communications and business writing skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent Mathematic and analytical skills
• Proven knowledge of inventory management

This role is accountable for all aspects of department performance including safety & environmental, quality, reliability, production, and productivity.
