We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer & Data Analyst with AI/GenAI Skills for an immediate onsite opportunity in Wichita, Kansas.

This role is ideal for a strong data and analytics professional who can combine traditional Business Intelligence and Tableau expertise with emerging AI and Generative AI capabilities. The selected candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, build scalable analytics solutions, and identify opportunities to incorporate AI into reporting and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Tableau dashboards, reports, scorecards, KPIs, and analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop interactive and visually effective Tableau dashboards, reports, scorecards, and executive-level analytics.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, business processes, KPIs, and analytical needs.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data visualization and analytics solutions.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Develop and optimize Tableau data sources, extracts, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and LOD expressions.
• Perform Tableau dashboard and data-source performance tuning to improve usability and response times.
• Develop and maintain logical and physical data models supporting reporting and analytical requirements.
• Work with multiple structured and unstructured data sources and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Use Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and related technologies for advanced data analysis and analytical modeling.
• Support ETL and data-preparation activities required for analytics and reporting.
• Establish and follow standards for data quality, governance, dashboard development, and reporting.
• Automate repetitive reporting and analytical processes wherever possible.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop technical documentation, solution documentation, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.

AI & Generative AI Responsibilities

A key part of this position will be identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance traditional analytics through AI and Generative AI.

The candidate will:

• Apply Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to data and analytics use cases.
• Develop AI-assisted analytics and intelligent reporting capabilities.
• Explore natural-language interfaces that allow business users to interact with enterprise data and analytics.
• Use Prompt Engineering techniques to improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated insights.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise knowledge and data analytics use cases.
• Work with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, or similar AI technologies.
• Use frameworks such as LangChain or equivalent technologies for LLM application development and orchestration.
• Explore AI-powered generation of summaries, insights, trends, explanations, and recommendations from analytical data.
• Develop or support predictive analytics and Machine Learning models for forecasting, trend identification, and business decision support.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into existing Tableau and enterprise BI solutions.
• Support the adoption of Responsible AI, AI Governance, security, privacy, and appropriate enterprise AI practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI Agents and autonomous analytics for applicable business use cases.
