About This Role
This role will focus on building and sustaining a strong operational foundation and be responsible for identifying, tracking, and reporting of electrical COE operational metrics. The candidate will be instrumental in facilitating events and actions to improve these metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracking and monthly reporting of project performance and financial metrics for the Electrical COE (ECOE) Americas. Includes tracking capital, NRE, and resource utilization.
- Facilitates and tracks control board quotes with Supply Chain.
- Supports evaluation of competitive product assessments
- Support LRP and AOP coordination across ECOE Americas
- Planisware Lead for ECOE Americas:
- Coordinate data entry
- Monitor and root cause forecast variances
- Contact point for cycle plan changes
- New project set up
- Facilitate engineering data collection to support finance teams
- Track and report out on e-car execution
- Coordinate with engineering managers to create long range capital plans across multiple sites
- Support North American ECOE operation improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering team leaders for implementation
- Ensure maintenance of current engineering standard work
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 5 years' experience in product development and/or manufacturing environment in a capital equipment industry
- Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Experience in analyzing engineering and product costs
- Experience in HVAC control systems
- Experience in Engineering budgets and program plans
- Experience in leading engineering projects
- Experience in working with global electrical teams
- Requires strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise utilizing PLM Packages
- Experience in embedded controls manufacturing
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
