Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Become a functional expert in customer data, which includes but is not limited to defining data elements, providing input on data structure, creating & maintaining business reporting, and aiding in training documentation as needed.
- Work cross functionally with various stakeholders across the company to identify customer data needs and provide insights, analytics, dashboarding, or reporting support
- Identify business opportunities utilizing various customer data elements (such as cross shopping, frequency, basket, loyalty, and segmentation data)
- Monitor the business each week to uncover customer trends and proactively provide insights to various stakeholders
- Develop and interpret customer dashboards and findings to business leadership
- Troubleshoot dashboards and reporting through knowledge of the databases and toolset
- Training end users on new reports and dashboards
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Statistics, Finance or equivalent experience. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities
- Solid experience writing SQL in an analytical capacity. Experience in other programming language(s) preferred but not required
- Ability to summarize business problems and develop analysis to provide solutions or recommendations
- Demonstrated experience with large data sets and relational databases
- Experience working with Customer Data preferred
- Experience with Retail POS or Loyalty Program Data
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
