Position Summary
This entry-into-management position assists the Demand Analytics & SI team in producing reporting, maintaining data quality, and supporting AI tooling and the category knowledge bank. The Assistant Manager executes well-defined analytics tasks under guidance, learns the source-of-truth standards, and grows toward owning a reporting area.
Mandate
Assist in delivering accurate reporting and clean data to L0s, and support AI tooling and knowledge-bank upkeep, under the direction of the Manager / Sr. Manager.

BI & Ops
- Prepare and refresh dashboards and recurring reports to established metric definitions (GMV, in-demand SKUs, conversion, cycle time).
- Perform data validation and quality checks; escalate anomalies; help track SLAs and initiative progress.
AI & Category Knowledge Bank
- Use AI/GenAI and prompt-based tools for defined analysis tasks; follow responsible-AI guidance.
- Help gather, tag, and organize category/supply knowledge for the knowledge bank.
RoW / Cross-Market (lane-specific)
- RoW / cross-market (support): assist with data gathering and reporting for the assigned region as directed.
Success Measures
Accurate, on-time reports; reliable data-quality checks; growing proficiency with AI tooling and the knowledge bank; readiness to own a reporting area.

Requirements & Qualifications (this level)
- Experience: 0–2 years in analytics / BI / business operations, or a strong internship/rotation track record; executes defined tasks reliably under guidance.
- Technical: Foundational SQL and strong Excel/Sheets; basic dashboarding; eagerness to build depth.
- AI & Automation: Comfortable using AI/prompt-based tools for guided tasks; willingness to learn tooling.
- Commercial: Developing ability to connect data to category/ops actions; collaborates well with the team.
- RoW lanes (if applicable): Interest in / exposure to the assigned region; additional languages a plus.
- Languages: English — working proficiency (required); Mandarin — fluent.
Minimum Qualifications (corporate baseline)
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, computer science, or related field, OR 2 years of related experience in analytics, BI, or business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or rotational experience in analytics / e-commerce.
- Exposure to SQL/BigQuery, GenAI tools, or dashboarding platforms.
- Marketplace / e-commerce interest or coursework.
