Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into clear metrics, analysis plans, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Monitor and analyze core business metrics and connect each other into one comprehensive analysis.
• Build and maintain reports related to various business metrics.
• Perform root causes analysis and evaluation on various business metrics.
• Perform forecasting or predictive analysis related to various business metrics.
• Build and maintain reliable dashboards and automated reports.
• Validate source data, reconcile conflicting metrics, document business definitions, and escalate data-quality issues.
• Present findings clearly and recommend practical actions to related business stakeholders and managerial stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or another relevant field—or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, conditional logic, window functions, and data validation.
• Basic Python skills for data analysis, automation, and lightweight data scripts, including use cases such as ingesting Google Sheets data into BigQuery.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control, collaboration, and maintaining analytical scripts.
• Hands-on experience with dashboards or data visualization tools and the ability to choose clear, decision-oriented visualizations.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and a practical understanding of descriptive statistics, trends, variance, funnel, cohort, or segmentation analysis.
• Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis and explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to data quality, metric definitions, documentation, and reconciliation.
• Curiosity about how the business works, sound judgment, ownership, and willingness to challenge assumptions respectfully.
