About Traveloka
Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region.
We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that.
About The Team
Flight Data is the analytical engine behind how millions of travellers across Southeast Asia search, compare, and book the right flights — from regional low-cost carriers to premium international airlines. We turn billions of search, routing, pricing, and booking signals into the models and insights that shape inventory supply, competitive pricing, search ranking, and conversion. When a traveller finds the optimal flight itinerary at the best price, that is our work.
Here you build at real scale on real markets, not slideware. You own problems end to end — framing the question, shipping the model or the analysis, and watching it move conversion and revenue across 11 countries. You will help build the cross-sell bridge that turns a flight booking into a complete journey. We are not importing someone else's playbook for this region; we are writing our own, and you can write the next chapter of it.
About The Job
As a Senior Data Analyst on Traveloka’s Flight team, you are a senior expert individual contributor with no direct reports who develops and implements the operational analytics plan for the Flight business area — work with direct impact on that area’s overall results and performance.
- Strategic Analytics Delivery: Own and deliver the operational analytics plan for the Flight business area, translating complex operational, financial, and market data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Modeling & Experimentation: Build advanced models, segmentations, and high-standard experiments (A/B testing) to shape business direction, dynamic pricing strategies, and inventory competitiveness.
- Data Infrastructure & Metrics: Enhance metric definitions, data pipelines, and analytical processes, collaborating with project teams to raise the technical standard and build trusted self-serve products.
- Stakeholder Influence: Persuade and align senior business and technical leaders on strategic decisions using strong, evidence-based narratives, driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the technical reference point for rigor and experimentation, mentoring other analysts and driving modern practices (like AI-assisted analytics) without direct people-management duties.
- Experience & Education: Typically 7+ years (minimum 5 years) of relevant experience in analytics, BI, or data science, alongside a degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent).
- Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise in SQL, BI tooling (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), cloud platforms, and advanced analytical methods (segmentation, experimentation, modeling).
- Problem Solving & Impact: Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems spanning operations and finance, with a track record of leading high-stakes analytics initiatives that changed key business decisions.
- Communication & Influence: Executive presence in English with the ability to deliver concise, persuasive insights to senior tech and business leaders, coupled with strong business acumen.
- Innovation & Scale: Experience building reusable analytics frameworks or self-serve data products that scaled across multiple teams, while driving the adoption of AI-assisted analytics.
