The Business Intelligence Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, coordinating the use and movement of data within the organization to align with strategic objectives. Concentration on understanding the Bank’s strategic goals and collaborating with stakeholders to align marketing campaigns with Bank priorities. Use data analytics and performance measurement to evaluate success, identify opportunities for improvement, and quantify results against strategic goals. The Business Intelligence Specialist position provides support to the Bank and affiliated companies.
Requirements

- Manage the Bank’s current CRM, data analysis, and current reporting software systems, including but not limited to the core report writer, Klarivis, Connections and ImageCenter
- Prepare ongoing reports, target lists, dashboards, data visualizations and executive summaries
- Analyze data results to measure outcomes, assess ROI, establish key performance metrics and be able to explain the results to business lines across the bank
- Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist and business development team to understand the Bank’s strategic objectives and translate them into targeted marketing initiatives
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that help the Bank and individual business lines achieve their goals
- Develop and distribute targeted prospect, cross-sell, and relationship opportunity lists to employees and officers to drive business growth and customer engagement
- Track marketing results and prepare reports for measuring success
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data
- Work with other departments to improve data and create processes to improve data quality
- Provide assistance with special projects and data integrations for software implementations
- Must be a self-starter who has a natural interest in continually learning new skills
- Must be able to explain data and break down findings into actionable insights for end users/management
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data analysis and extraction
- Must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics or a related field and/or equivalent experience required
- 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, customer/member experience, strategy, business intelligence, or a related field required.
- A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for relevant work experience.
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with visualization and analytics tools
- Skilled in writing technical documentation clearly and concisely for non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex ideas simply to multiple stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to synthesize large data sets from multiple sources and aggregate key insights
- Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies
This is a full-time position performed on-site M-F in a regular office work environment and will routinely use standard office equipment. Travel may be required to 1st National branch offices or meetings with vendors
