As a Senior Product Financial Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and communicating the risk management position through data-driven insights utilizing internal and external data. Essential Duties Include The Following
- Applies innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to data driven recommendations supporting business objectives.
- Collaborates with actuaries to develop current risk exposure estimates utilizing statistical methods and industry/economic indicators.
- Effectively presents and communicates complex data findings to business leaders to help the organization meet challenges and achieve goals. Provides recommendations on the use of information.
- Identifies and track financial risk factors impacting from customer, operations and industry indicators.
- Supports financial recording, documentation and communication of financial risk decisions with accounting and external auditors.
- Manages Contingent Commission or other Profit Sharing agreements, internal recordings and reconciliations with carriers.
- Mentors, develops and educates other analysts and business partners in complex financial analysis.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics field such as Accounting, Business Analytics, Actuarial Sciences, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
- Relevant advanced degrees and certifications.
- Five (5) years in an analytical role required.
- Actuarial or Insurance experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively across levels and skillsets.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
