Are you a data-driven analyst who enjoys turning complex datasets into meaningful business insights? We're partnering with a stable and growing organization seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong analytics mindset to support strategic decision-making, forecasting, and portfolio performance analysis.
This role is ideal for someone whose background is more closely aligned with Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Financial Data Analysis than a traditional accounting-focused Financial Analyst position.
What You'll Do
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting dashboards
- Create data visualizations and executive-level reporting
- Develop insights that support operational and financial decision-making
- Investigate data discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvement
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and leadership teams
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and ad hoc reporting initiatives
What We're Looking For
✅ Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
✅ Power BI and Power Query experience
✅ SQL proficiency
✅ Financial modeling and forecasting experience
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✅ Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
✅ Self-starter who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Specialist, or Financial Analyst background
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field is a plus
- Experience with Yardi or other property management software is highly desired
