Accountant

A growing manufacturer in the Marietta area is looking for a strong Manufacturing Accountant ready to take the next step in their career.

This is not a replacement role — it’s a growth opportunity with the ability to develop into a Plant Controller as the organization continues to grow.

You’ll work closely with plant leadership and have hands-on responsibility across accounting and plant finance, including:

• Manufacturing and cost accounting
• Ownership of key pieces of month-end close
• Inventory accounting, reconciliations and cycle counts
• Standard costing and variance analysis
• COGS and margin analysis
• Labor, material and overhead variances
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• ERP systems and process improvement
• Partnership with Operations and plant leadership
• Increasing responsibility across the overall plant accounting function

What we're looking for:

A strong accountant with manufacturing experience who understands how accounting connects to what is happening on the plant floor. Cost accounting experience is important, but we're equally interested in someone with strong overall accounting fundamentals, curiosity, initiative and the desire to grow.

This is an opportunity for someone who doesn't just want their next accounting job — they want a path toward Plant Controller leadership.

Compensation: Up to $110K+ based on experience

Location: Marietta, OH | Onsite

Environment: Growing manufacturing operation with a newer facility and approximately 50 employees
