Community Outreach Specialist

Lysted is a fast-growing ticket marketplace app that helps season ticket holders sell their seats quickly and easily. We are looking for a people-person who thrives on outreach — someone who can go into Facebook groups, forums, and online communities to find season ticket holders and introduce them to Lysted. This role is all about direct, genuine engagement with real people. Part-time contract with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Role facts: Reports to: Chief Consignment Officer Employment type: Independent Contractor Hours: ~20 hours per week Rate: $25/hour Duration: 3 months minimum, with potential for continued employment or conversion to FTE Requirements: - Identify Facebook groups, Reddit communities, forums, and other online spaces where season ticket holders are active - Reach out directly to season ticket holders and introduce them to the Lysted app - Build genuine relationships within these communities — not spamming, but adding real value and starting conversations - Follow up with interested prospects and guide them through downloading and listing on Lysted - Report weekly to stakeholders on outreach activity, responses, and results - Surface new communities and channels worth pursuing as you learn what's working Qualifications: - A natural people-person — comfortable striking up conversations with strangers online - Active and familiar with Facebook groups, Reddit, and other community platforms - Excellent written communication — you write like a real person, not a brand account - Self-directed and organized; can manage your own outreach pipeline with minimal supervision - Genuine interest in sports, live events, or the ticket resale space is a strong plus - Prior outreach, sales development, or community ambassador experience is a plus About Us Automatiq is the leading all-in-one software platform in the live event ticketing world, serving resellers of all sizes.
