About the role
We are seeking for a passionate and committed pricing specialist who will support the group companies all over the world in all aspects of pricing.
The Pricing Specialist is responsible for implementing pricing strategies and discount policies to drive the company to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to leverage data and market insights to make informed pricing decisions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, product management, and marketing to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis around trends in price development, Price Volume Mix, and Revenues. Take Action on Trends revealed and drive changes in pricing
- Streamline and improve business practices in pricing, including tools, templates, and processes
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product management, and Marketing to improve performance and operational efficiency
- Support in building a sustainable pricing strategy, including list price definition, discount structure, and pricing policies
- Review and manage pricing requests, including loading conditions into the ERP-System
- Support and drive annual price review process and manage timely renewal for all relevant pricing conditions (List and customer pricing)
Qualifications:
- Structured and data based working approach, but also understand the business processes behind the numbers
- You quickly understand issues and are ready to go down to the level of detail without losing sight of the overall picture
- Flexible approach in adapting to changing priorities
- Problem Solving and process improvement are an additional assets
- Business intelligence software, desirable Qlik
- Teamplay is important to you
- Intermediate Excel and data manipulation experience. Excel programming is a plus as well
- Good working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Your working languages are English . German, French or Dutch is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience working in global cross-functional teams.
- Travel might be required, less than 20%
