Data & Analytics Consultant (German Language)

About The Role

In this role, you will help organizations unlock business value from data, analytics, and AI initiatives. As part of SoftServe’s Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, you will lead discovery activities, shape solution vision, and bridge business and technical teams to deliver impactful, data-driven outcomes for global clients

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities to identify business goals, stakeholder needs, data challenges, and solution opportunities
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, requirements, acceptance criteria, and AI use case definitions
• Define KPIs, reporting needs, business rules, data mappings, and success metrics for analytics and AI solutions
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, BI developers, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery
• Support pre-sales initiatives through discovery workshops, solution scoping, estimation, and proposal preparation
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through data, analytics, automation, and AI
• Maintain project documentation and support backlog refinement, prioritization, testing, and stakeholder alignment

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or similar role in data-driven environments
• Practical background in analytics, BI, reporting, data platforms, AI/ML, or digital transformation initiatives
• Advanced experience with requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and process modeling
• Proven ability to lead discovery and pre-sales activities, including solution definition and effort estimation
• Good understanding of data concepts, including KPIs, dashboards, data quality, data mapping, and ETL/ELT processes
• Familiarity with AI and Generative AI concepts, including LLM-based assistants, automation, and recommendation systems
• Strong consulting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in client-facing environments
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English and German proficiency for workshops, documentation, and stakeholder communication
