The Business Analytics Analyst will help turn data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. In this role, the incumbent will work with data tools, build and maintain reports and dashboards, and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on a variety of data projects. This is a great opportunity to apply a technical foundation, learn alongside senior analysts, and contribute to scalable data solutions that turn data into measurable impact for the business. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.
How You'll Shine
- Data Preparation: Clean, transform, and structure raw data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy for downstream analysis. Help ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency across reporting systems.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Assist in developing, maintaining and automating recurring reports and dashboards. Build new, user-friendly data visualizations to track key performance metrics.
- Analysis & Insights: Analyze available data sources to identify issues and trends and help develop targeted recommendations. Perform routine reporting, data profiling, and exploratory modeling to uncover trends and business opportunities. Support development of analytical and predictive models.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and senior analysts to understand data requirements and deliver actionable findings. Help translate business requirements into analytical solutions and present findings with clear storytelling.
- Data Quality & Process: Follow standardized reporting processes and support routine data quality checks. Contribute to adopting best-in-class reporting practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Hands-on exposure to Power BI (or Tableau) to build clear, scannable charts and reports.
- Proficiency in Python (or R) for data manipulation, scripting, or statistical analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Demosntrated foundational knowledge of SQL for querying data (Snowflake a plus) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data to provide strategic and actionable insights
- Two (2) years of experience in an analytical role.
- Proven track record in data analysis, business intelligence, or a highly quantitative field.
- Travel/Hospitality experience a plus, but not required.
