Data Analyst - Sustainability

So, as we continue to rapidly grow, we are expanding the capabilities on our sustainability team and are seeking an experienced Data Analyst. This person will join the sustainability team that oversees Technimark’s global sustainability strategy and 2030 goals across the three pillars of People, Planet, and Product, and will work across the organization to ensure accuracy, integrity and availability of the sustainability data.


This role will support the administration and continuous improvement of Technimark's sustainability data systems and reporting infrastructure, and includes working with multiple ERP platforms, additional third-party sustainability platforms, and reporting tools in support of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, sustainability reporting, Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) initiatives, customer sustainability data requirements, and sustainability performance analytics.


Required Qualifications

  • BS in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations, finance, supply chain, sustainability, or related areas
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exp. developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL, ETL and relational databases
  • Experience working with large data sets, data validation, reconciliation, and analytics
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities


Preferred Experience

  • Sustainability, ESG, environmental, or greenhouse gas reporting experience
  • Knowledge of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting
  • Experience with sustainability platforms such as Sweep or Resource Advisor
  • ERP knowledge ideally with DELMIAWorks, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • API integration and reporting automation experience
  • Manufacturing, plastics, packaging, recycling, or supply chain experience
  • Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or Product Carbon Footprinting methodologies
