We are currently searching for a freelance Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Consultant to support an ongoing data analysis and data quality management programme within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

The consultant will focus on analysing, improving and maintaining data quality across the Dynamics landscape, combining hands-on data analysis with data quality management, cleansing, validation and functional/technical consulting.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong data analysis and data quality management experience
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 data structures and data models
• Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues, inconsistencies and duplicates
• Experience with data mapping and transformation
• Good knowledge of Dataverse / Dynamics data entities
• Experience with SQL, Power Query and/or Power BI
• Understanding of data governance and Master Data Management (MDM)
• Experience defining and implementing data quality rules and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 landscape
• Identify data quality issues, gaps, inconsistencies and duplicates
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities
• Define and implement data quality rules, controls and processes
• Support improvements to overall data accuracy, completeness and consistency
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into suitable data management solutions
• Support data mapping, transformation and migration activities where required
• Produce data analysis, data quality and process documentation
• Work closely with business, IT and data stakeholders to resolve data-related issues
• Support the development of data governance and Master Data Management processes
• Provide recommendations for ongoing improvements to Dynamics 365 data quality

Key Experience:

• Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 data
• Strong background in data analysis and data quality management
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation
• Experience identifying and resolving complex data quality issues
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 / Dataverse data structures
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query or similar data analysis technologies
• Experience with data governance and/or Master Data Management would be beneficial
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or Power Platform would be beneficial
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
